I spent the New Year in Portland at Comic Nerd friend house! There were cute, drunk nerds EVERYWHERE talking about comix. There was also a drum jam session and martial arts fighting. I spent it with Julia Grofrer and Brodie Kelly, and there were few people on earth i cared more to see! (aside from you, of course.) It was magical. Later, friends were made on a walk to Division street to sleep peacefully in a beautiful, although chilly bus. It was like having a five star hotel in my eyes!
New Year's day was just as good, long walks in the rain, late breakfast and conversations with sugarspeech Amina, and collecting heartfriend Belau for dance party with Julia, and later neighbours and karaoke. Sleepover party of some importance, snow, awaking in wonderland to find Brodie presented us with a tea party with carrots, trail mix, crackers, tomatoes, and chex mix. The mlk was in a tiny jar. It gets no better than this. Later, wandering around and getting a sweet rideshare with a bunch of really sweet folks. Uncontrollable heart! PDX IS SPECIALIZED. Hope your new year was magical!
